Here I am in Madrid back in April when the book had just about been completed, giving a summary of the key themes in the book. Yes it’s 54 minutes, and no it’s not exactly TED, but putting it here at least for my own archives
This blog is to share ideas about emerging market brands. And with Ernst & Young predicting emerging markets' GDP overtaking the developed world in 2014, you probably "ain't seen nothing yet".
Book 1: is already out and covers the Muslim Majority world, from Istanbul to Indonesia. There are around 50 case examples in the book, but I researched over 1000 others from the region, so have plenty to share and keep finding more. Plus there is content from conference speeches, articles, interviews and so on. And I'm hoping readers of the book and other likeminds will visit to discuss and develop the ideas in the book.
Book 2: I'm intending to start work on this in 2014. It will cover another vibrant remerging region and (while Africa is tempting) the most likely candidate given my recent trips to Brazil is Latin America. And if that means doing my primary research during the 2014 World Cup... so much the better.
